Then read over THE ONE DAWON BELOW and respond YOUR OPINION

"As stated by O'Neil, ethnic identity is the social attributes unique to a specific community of people. National identity resembles an institution that roots people and communities together through common political aspirations (O'Neil p.68) English culture and heritage stems back centuries embedding deep traditional values into its people.

This national identity resonating from the English is a strong sentiment to the cultures rich history. It is no surprise Brexit was proposed and implemented. The EU slowly robbed the English of national and ethnic identity sliver by sliver, immigrant by immigrant. The new incoming and strong cultures associated with the immigrating peoples began to slowly dilute the stout English identity. The people began to notice, and pleaded for change.

They feared the EU, led by Germany's new expectations of immigration policy would envelope the country as a whole, as border control fell, and immigration numbers rose.

With the influx of immigrants slowly rising, many feared the proud and strong English culture would be washed away with dizzying amounts of polish and Turkish immigrants."
