The purpose of the Discussion Board is to allow students to learn through sharing ideas and experiences as they relate to course content and the DB question. Because it is not possible to engage in two-way dialogue after a conversation has ended, no posts to the DB will be accepted after the end of each unit.
Using course materials and other sources, answer the following in your Discussion Board post:
• Select a minimum of two industries (or specific companies), and identify how reselling, selling via outlet, salvaging, reconditioning, refurbishing, and remanufacturing can help that company optimize its reverse logistics supply chain.
• Explain the relationship between optimization of the reverse logistics channel and the overall supply channel.
• Is it possible for a company's reverse logistics to fail? Research a time where this was the case and how it affected the company.
