Discuss law enforcement has an obligation

In 1966, the Supreme Court ruled in its Miranda v. Arizona decision that law enforcement has an obligation to advise a suspect of his or her rights under the Constitution. This decision, however, did not definitively settle the issue since the Court has revisited Miranda numerous times since 1966. Beginning with Miranda, trace the history of Supreme Court decisions relating to Miranda v. Arizona. Discuss whether there are still any unresolved issues regarding suspect rights that the Supreme Court will need to address in the future. Your assignment is to write a 3-4 page paper (excluding cover and reference pages).

The paper should contain a cover page, and it should follow APA guidelines, which means that you must provide in-text citations and references at the end of the paper for any source you use, including the textbook.

Please note the paper may require you to use sources in addition to the textbook. The paper should be double-spaced and use 12 point font. For citation guidelines, please refer to the table in the APA Style section of the syllabus. Book is Basic Criminal Law.
