INSTRUCTIONS:
At the conclusion of the semester you will submit your signed time sheet (signed by the agency). You can find the time sheet here . You will also complete a 6 page (double space) final essay (see rubric for specifics). This essay should provide a critical self-assessment that includes the following:
1. Discuss how effectively you met your goals cited in your contract (use specific examples)
2. Discuss how your experience connects with the course goals, the course materials/lectures and the mission of the agency (use specific examples of course content thoroughly explained)
3. Discuss the implications of your project and your personal growth by answering at least three of the following questions critically (use specific examples):
• Have you become more culturally aware through your work at your site? If so how, if not, why do you think that is?
• Would you describe your relationship at your site as reciprocal? Why or why not?
• Have you observed examples of privilege or inequity at your site?
• Have you become more aware of your own privilege or targeted identities?
• What have you learned about yourself?
• What have you learned about your community?
• What values, opinions, beliefs have changed?
• What was the most important lesson learned?
• How have you been challenged?
• What should others do about this issue?
