Assignment:
Creation to Apocalypse
1. Reread your creation story with some of the comments I made. What are the important Gods, figures, mythical devices that could have some relevance on the end of the world?
2. Write the following about your apocalypse. (one paragraph for each hash mark)
-What will be the fate of the mortals or animals on Earth? Avoid anything overly gruesome but still be creative. Think about how the natural elements could reduce humanoid creatures to nothingness or perhaps could just be eliminated like Thanos's snap with the infinity gauntlet.
-How will the Gods face off against one other? Will there be a great battle, some sort of treachery? Will the humans or animals outlive the Gods and kill them off?
-What will be the aftermath of this Ragnorok when the Gods of your world go away or are killed off? Will all of life die off? Remember that there has to be a clear description, or at least indication, that a new world will begin to rise from the ashes.
Expectations: Three to four paragraphs. Will be submitted on Blackboard. You do not need to attach your previous creation to this new thread. I left the creation myth threads open so that you can access your story and my commentary. This is being entered on Friday, the 31st so if you desired you could start today!
