The goal of the Signature Assignment is for you to produce a well-developed abbreviated research proposal using scholarly writing and APA formatting for possible use for your dissertation or capstone project.
Think about potential education-related research topics you have identified thus far in the course. What topics do you feel the most passionate about improving? Does an actual need exist for improvement within these areas? Will you be able to easily access data sources, particularly study participants? Will it be possible or feasible to conduct research involving these topics within the time constraints of a research study? These are all questions and many more you will need to consider when determining possible research topics for your dissertation or capstone project.
