Assignment: Empathy
As a part of the project task for Module, complete the following:Research peer-reviewed journals for articles about empathy.
Develop a working definition for yourself as a professional that fits your own belief system as you move toward your goal of becoming a sport psychologist.
Also note in the literature some descriptions of empathy as a counseling skill and how and in which circumstances you might use it with clients.
Develop three direct quote examples of empathetic comments you might make to your clients in specific contexts.
This will prepare you to use empathy skills with the person you are interviewing for your final project due in Module 7.
Write a two- to three-page paper addressing the bulleted items.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
