• Search the Internet or contact your place of employment and obtain a set of HR policies, which can be an entire HR manual or only a section of it such as hiring or compensation.
• Identify a company that you would like to write an HR policy for.
• Develop a timeline for completing the project.
• Create a proposal that describes the type of policy you will prepare for the company.

Evaluation Criteria
It is crucial for the instructor to evaluate whether the student has acquired a realistic understanding of the subject matter. This is not simply a "cut and paste" situation. Students must understand what is contained in the HR policies and create new policies that will further the firm's overall strategy. The focus should be on realistic and implementable changes to the current policy.
