Determine the voltage applied to the resistor

A battery with an internal resistance Rint can be modeled as an ideal battery in series with a resistor, Rint Suppose a 9 V battery has an .internal resistance of 10 Ω.

a. A 100 Ω resistor is connected to the battery. Determine the voltage applied to the resistor.

b. A cheap voltmeter with an internal resistance of 1000 Ω is used to measure the output voltage of the above battery. What is the voltage measured? Note that a voltmeter reads the voltage that drops across its internal resistance.

c. What is the smallest resistor that can be connected to the battery such that no more than1% of the battery voltage drops across the internal resistance of the battery.
