Determine the Higher order programming languages
Higher order programming languages such as COBOL and PASCAL came into existence. Use of these made programming much easier. In this decade, some structural design practices such as top down approach were introduced. Concept of quality assurance was also introduced. Though, the business aspects such astime estimation, cost estimation etc. of software were in their elementary stages.
