1. Design an observational study of your own, including the creation of a set of behavioral categories that would be used to code for one or more variables of interest to you. Indicate the decisions that you have made regarding the sampling of behaviors.
2. Make a tape recording of a student meeting. Discuss methods that could be used to meaningfully organize and code the statements made by the students.
3. Design, and conduct if possible, an archival research study. Consider what type of information you will look for, how you will find it, and how it should be content coded.
