Homework: Research Paper Proposal
Based on your career interests, choose a topic relevant to human service policy from the list of topics found under the instructions for the Final Paper (Mandated Reporting of Child Abuse, Mental Health Policy, Prison Diversion, or Prescription Privileges for Psychologists). The topic you choose for this homework will be the topic you use for your 12 to 15 page Research Project.
For this homework, write a 700 to 1,050 word (2 to 3 pages) paper, citing a minimum of two peer reviewed sources, which achieves the following:
1) Summarize your chosen topic/policy issue(s).
2) Define the issue(s) clearly and specifically.
3) Describe what you already know about the issue(s).
4) Explain why and to whom the topic is important.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
