Module Discussion
When answering the discussion questions you are required to give detailed answers. I do not want short one sentence answers, I am looking for detailed well written answers. Also, the answer to the questions should come from the reading material (book and powerpoints). However, when responding to your peers postings that is when you can post your opinion on the subject.
1. List factors under the control of healthcare managers that contribute to the decrease in the number of people applying to health professions schools. Describe the steps that healthcare organizations can take to improve this situation.
2. How may an organization's human resources be viewed as a strength or a weakness when doing a SWOT analysis? What could be done to strengthen human resources if it is seen as a weakness?
3. Describe the process of professionalization. What is the difference between a profession and an occupation?
4. How has managed care affected the healthcare professions?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
