• Describe the differences between ethics and law.
• Before a court can hear a case, it must have jurisdiction. What is jurisdiction? Explain the different types of jurisdiction outlined in the book and explain under what circumstances a federal court might have jurisdiction.
• Thoroughly discuss arbitration and its role as an ADR system. Advantages/Disadvantages, high profile cases which have used it, successes and failures, etc.
• Discuss how courts should determine when federal law should preempt state law as discussed in the text and online articles.
