Assignment: Social Science Research - Methodology
My Topic is "Quebec's post-secondary students' opinions on gender discrimination in the workplace" .
I have few questions to ask, if it is not possible for you to find the exact "answer", I would like to know how to find these answers.
1) Research Design - Determine whether you are taking a QUALITATIVE or QUANTITATIVE approach and WHY you selected that approach. Determine whether you will take a LONGITUDINAL study, CASE study or COMPARISON study approach and WHY? Approximately 1 page in length.
2) Sample- Define your POPULATION and your SAMPLE. What are the CHARACTERISTICS your sample have? Determine the TYPE OF SAMPLING METHOD you chose and WHY. Is this sample generally representative of the population from which it was drawn? How likely is it that your findings will be generalizable to other populations? How big is your sample. Approximately 1-2 pages in length.
3) Data Collection - Which tool of data collection was used? How well is this tool suited to the research question posed and the specific hypothesis tested, if any? Describe your tool in detail. Approximately 1 page in length.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
