1. Define "passive resistance."
2. Discuss why it is sometimes difficult to distinguish terrorists from freedom fighters.
3. Discuss whether you believe it is possible to accomplish political and social change using non-violent means. Include in your discussion examples where violent and non-violent means, including "passive resistance," have succeeded or failed. Draw upon the textbook and assigned readings to support your argument. Cite specific countries or movements.
