Introduction:

Google, corp. is one of the leading companies on the worlds. In fact, they are the competitors of Apple, corp. in the smartphones industry. The article attracted me because google is attempting to gain more marketshare and users for its android phone. The target for google is India. What I'm interested about this subject is to know how big corporations introduce their products to a totally different populations who acquire different cultures and believes.

1. Define opportunity:

a. What are there objective?

i. The big winning, in getting a new segment which leads them to the next billion users of android system from the Southern asian market.So, they are entered a new market that is crucial for their growth of their android system.

b. Do they have any constraints?

. yes, With the Android One programprograme, Google wants to change concept of using android system by having a unified update just like apple updates for iphone.

c. How does the company measure success?

. Vishal Tripathi, principal analyst at the research firm Gartner in Mumbai, claims that the project is a new big step for low-end android users in india.

Recognize when reading:

. Uncertainty: the Uncertainty of whether this strategy will work or not is the cost of "Android One" is high for the users of India even though they cut some costs of the phone. It cost 100$ which is expensive comparing with other manufacturers in the region. So, they trying to sell a high tec smartphone with an extra amount worth its value and differentiate from other competitors. We might see that the level of uncertainty is high but could lead to dominate the south asian market. "

Best alternative:

. It is important to know the market that google is emerging to. Majority of Indians have low income budget but technology for a lot of young indians is a hugehug elementelemnt as a lot of developpers exists in this region and as third world countries rely in smartophones those days as a cell phone and a computer at the same time. So, my best alternative is I try to build a phone cater to their needs by acknowledging their way of using phones in terms of providing them customized features. However, building a low cost phone (android one) that would attract their attention beside the typical google phone (nexus 5). In other words, they would find the difference between a lot of choices by acquiring a phone from well known company which is google but with customized price and product that would make them feel special.

a. The competitors moves: other competitors "low-tech feature phones" might reduce their prices. On the other hand, it might drives other leading android companies like samsungs to enter the market by offering low-priced androids phones.
