Annotated Bibliography
Objective: To construct a working bibliography of citations following APA guidelines with brief annotations
• Include at least five complete citations of possible outside sources of information for researched proposal.
• Construct citations following APA guidelines.
• Include an annotation for each of the citations.
• As with all documents, include both an introduction and a conclusion.
What to do : Construct a working bibliography with citations and brief annotations of at least five sources from which you may use information for your researched proposal. (A brief annotation is defined as a two or three sentence annotation at most.) These citations will appear in the References List of your report if you use information from them. Use the format specified by the APA guidelines to present your citations.
A working bibliography is a listing of sources that includes a brief annotation, or description, of the source with the citation. You use this bibliography as you conduct your research; it is a working document that develops as you gather information. You should also include a sentence evaluating the usefulness of the source for your project. Each annotation should have three sentences: two summary sentences and one evaluation sentence.
Each source should be presented in a complete citation following APA style guidelines.
Note: The annotations are not included with the citations in your report's References list.
