Chief executive officer (CEO) Beranger has recognized that you are an expert in regards to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and would like you to hire you as Silver Creek Hospital's first HIPAA Compliance Officer. As you begin your new role, CEO Beranger discusses with you the demands of e-health services and applications and the privacy, confidentiality, and ethical concerns that go along with it. She asks that you construct a PowerPoint presentation that you will present to the board of directors with 10-12 slides that explain the ethical importance of privacy, confidentiality, and disclosure and how the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules protect patient information.

Upon completion of the HIPAA training at www.hipaaexams.com, you will be given a certification exam. If you successfully pass the certification exam, you will earn a HIPAA Certificate of Completion that you can print off and show future employers that you are HIPAA-trained and competent and ready to join the health care profession.
Complete the HIPAA training program at www.hipaaexams.com, which must take about 2 hours to complete. After you complete this training, you will be required to post in the Phase 5 Discussion Board about this training and discuss your experience and thoughts with your peers in the Phase 5 discussion.
