Assignment Expectations (Content)
Read the Case Study- "Two Poorly Functioning Teams" and the required reading material and write a 4-5 pages paper in which you will answer the following questions:
1. Enlist the multiple factors that caused the poor functioning of each group.
2. According to Tuckman's five stages of group development conflict occurs as the second stage after the orientation phase in ordinary groups. Compare the two groups in respect to the conflict process that took place in each using the Tuckman's as a freamwork.
3. For each group, suggest a resolution to the conflicts and explain why you think it is going to be effective.
Assignment Expectations (Structure)
1. Make sure that you use your own language (rather than copying sentences from the article).
2. Your paper will be graded based on the following criteria: Precision, Clarity, Breadth, Depth, Grammar/Vocabulary, Referencing, and Application.
3. Use 12 point font (Times New Roman), double-spacing, and one inch margins. Add a cover page and a references list.
4. Citing your Sources: APA Style - TUI requires all PhD work to be in APA form. We also encourage all other students to comply with guidelines for proper citation of references. Welcome to the third SLP of the course! Now it's time to figure out where your group or team is developmentally.

Assignment Expectations (Content)
First, pick a work group or team that you have been a part of and are familiar with. It can be one that you are working with now, or one that you have worked with in the past, either in your current job or in a past job.
Please use the Tuckman model in order to answer the questions.
