Calculating the molarity-molality-mole fraction

Question 1: Identify any five ‘Chemical industries in Oman’. Mention the name and location of the industry and products produced in  these industries. Also, describe the role of a Chemical Engineer in each of these industries.

Question 2: Hydrochloric acid is an important commercial acid. Hydrochloric acid reacts with ammonium hydroxide forming ammonium chloride.

i) Write the acid base chemical equation for above reaction.

ii) Calculate the amount HCl required in kilograms to react with 25 kg ammonium hydroxide.

iii) Calculate the amount of HCl required to obtain 30 kg of ammonium chloride.

Question 3: Sulphuric acid can be made with concentration of 99%. However for different industrial process different concentrations are used. For a specific industrial  requirement, 62% H2SO4 is used which has density of 1.55 g/mL. Calculate the molarity, molality and mole fraction of this H2SO4 solution.
