When the cylinder is fully immersed, does the buoyant force acting on it depend on how far below the surface of the water is? what is buoyant force acting on the cylinder in case the cylinder is at rest on the bottom and the support wire is slack when it's resting on the bottom of the beaker, with no tension in the wire?
