One of the goals of this course is to familiarize each student with the various challenges a leader faces in decision making at a strategic and business level. To close out this course, the final presentation will provide you with an opportunity to directly apply your learning to a real world scenario.

Create a Powerpoint presentation based on the following:

Identify a book on leadership and decision-making that you feel offers guidance on the topic to your peers in the course. Please approve the book with me to ensure no duplications.

Review the book responding to the following issues in a power point presentation and supporting notes.

This is not a traditional book review but rather a critical analysis of the theories and concepts presented in the book and their relationship to the content and theories presented in the course.

The book presentation will need to address five key issues:

1. A statement of the core thesis of the book as it relates to strategy and decision-making.

2. The pros and cons of the argument presented in the book.

3. A critical application of the decision-making tools and process reviewed in the course.

4. A team based assessment of the validity and efficacy of the books thesis considering the theories and practices in decision-making reviewed in this course.

5. Demonstration and use of media in the presentation.

Marks will be based on:

1. a clear explanation and demonstration of key ideas in the book

2. application of critical thinking in assessment and presentation, demonstrating awareness and appreciation of differing points of view, critical analysis and interpretation, proposed actions and recommendations.

You must cite articles that support your position in APA format.

Number of slides for this assignment should be 10 slides without the title and the reference slide.
