For this task, you will examine the ethical aspects of neural prostheses when used to assist individuals with a dementia spectrum disorder or a closed brain trauma. Address the following in your paper:
• Describe the process of memory storage in the brain.
• Describe where the neural prosthesis would be implanted and how it would work to enhance memory, language, and learning.
• Analyze the ethical aspects of neural prostheses-consider issues such as who should have access to these chips, and under what circumstances; how would this effect competition in the job market? Would this create a new neural digital divide between people who could and could not afford implants?
Support your paper with at least three scholarly references from peer-reviewed journals published in the past 5 years. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
