Advantage in an entrepreneurial setting

Assignment:

Many organizations such as my company require the rapid formation of ad hoc teams who will each contribute based on their expertise. The teams form quickly and have a dynamic membership based on the current project's needs. In my organization the team is usually lead by one or more project managers who recruit the needed member based on skill and availability. Each team member may be part of many different project teams. In this way, the talents of many creative and dedicated individual associates are brought together to form ad-hoc teams around a specific project or client. The team formation process looks at competencies. Studies show that teams who work together grow in their understanding of each other and learn how to operate effectively as a team. (Mulder, Swaak, & Kessels, 2004).

1. How can you use this dynamic team model to your advantage in an entrepreneurial setting?
