Workflow system: It is a sequence of connected steps. It is a depiction of a series of operations, declared as work of a person, a grouping of persons, an organization of employees, or one or more simple or complex mechanisms. Workflow might be seen as any abstraction of the real work. For control purposes, workflow might be a view on real work beneath a selected aspect, therefore serving as a virtual representation of real work. The flow being explained might refer to a document or product which is being transferred from one step to the other.
