Run length encoding is defined as a compression technique which is used to accumulate the intensity values within the frame buffer that stores every scan line as the set of integer pairs. One number, every pair signifies an intensity value, and second number signifies the number of adjacent pixels over the scan line that is to have that particular intensity value.
