Paging is defined as a memory-management scheme which enables the physical-address space of the process to non-contiguous.
Benefits of the Paging are as follows:
a) Avoids the considerable problem of fitting the varying -sized memory chunks onto the baking store.
b) Fragmentation problems are also prevalent baking store, except that the access is very much slower, so the compaction is impossible.
