'IrDA' is defined as a standard which is specified by the Infrared Data Association that is formed in the year 1993. It was developed majorly to increase the point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication. It is dependent upon the line of sight (LOS) operation. The infrared rays may be used where the LOS is preferred and useful for these indoor consumer applications.
