Handoff refers to the principle which is used in order to carry on the call that is established within the mobile communication. Whenever the subscriber is near to the cell boundary the strength of the signal decreases through which the BTS of that particular cell hand over the call to the next BTS of other cell in which the subscriber enters.
Types of handoff can be listed as:
a) Hard hand off.
b) Soft handoff.
