The matrix is a representation of some rows and columns, to persist homogeneous data. This can as well be called as the double-dimensioned array.

The uses of matrix are:

a) To represent class hierarchy by using Boolean square matrix.

b) For data encryption and decryption.

c) To symbolize the traffic flow and plumbing in a network.

d)  To implement the graph theory of node representation.
