Consider a transformer and the induction machine which have same supply. Specify for which device the load current will be maximum and why?

Motor will have the max load current in comparison to that of the transformer since motor consumes the real power and transformer is generating the working flux and it is not consuming. Thus, load current within the transformer is due to the core loss hence it is minimum.
