Requirements in the Test Director
Is it possible to map the Defects directly to the requirements (not via the test cases) in the Test Director?
Expert
Yes, it is possible. Create your requirement structure. Create the test case structure and test cases Map the testcases to the apr. requirement. Run and report the bugs from your test cases in test lab module. The database structure in TD is mapping testcase to defects, just if you have created the bug from the apr. test case. Perhaps you can update the mapping by utilizing some code in the bug script module (from customize project function), as far as we know, it’s not possible to map the defects directly to a requirement.
