Arachnid arthropods and the terrestrial molluscs are invertebrates which have the pulmonary-like respiration. Some terrestrial molluscs have mantle cavity which is filled with air which makes contact with richly vascularised tissues which work as rudimentary lungs. Besides, their tracheal respiration some of arachnids have book lungs (thin folds resembling leaves of book) which make gas exchange.
