The runtime supports Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, NT4 SP6a, Windows 2000 and Windows ME/98. Though, Windows 95 is not supported. Some of the parts of framework do not work upon all platforms – such as, ASP.NET is only supported over the XP and Windows 2000/2003. Windows 98 /I may not be used for development.
