(1) Universal applicability: It can be practically applied in different types of establishments, business as well as non-business, small as well as large.

(2) General Guidelines: As the business environment is very changing or dynamic however do not provide readymade solutions.

(3) Formed by practice and experimentation: On the basis of experiences of managers they are developed after thorough research work.

(4) Flexible: As per the demands of the situations it can be modified by the practicing manager.

(5) Mainly behavioural: They are behavioural in nature, since the principles aim at influencing human behaviour.

(6) Cause and Effect relationship: They anticipate to establish connection between reason & effect which can be used in somehow similar situations.

(7) Contingent: At a particular point of time, their applicability depends upon the prevailing situation.
