Write down the difference between the journal voucher and the contra.

Journal voucher refers to the voucher where all the adjustment regarding the entries and non cash non bank transactions are entered into the journal eg- dep, some of them book bills in journal and while they make a payment they record in payment eg-contractor bill, contra emerges 2 times in the two sides of a account, an account will be regarded as contra when:

a) Cash deposited in the bank.

b) Cash withdrawn from bank for official use.

c) Cheques deposited into the bank.

d) Cheques withdrawn for the office use.

e) Transfers from one account to the other account.
