This refers to a high-level matrix/array language along with the functions, data structures, control flow statements, input/output, and object-oriented programming characteristics. It enables both the "programming within the small" to quickly generated quick and dirty throw-away programs, and "programming within the large" to generate the complete large and the complex application programs.
