A Business Objects repository refers to the set of data structures stored on the database. A repository forms it possible in order to share the resources essential for the client/server architecture. In order to ensure the security and manage the user resources, the repository comprises of the three types of domains:
a) A security domain generally consists of the definition of other domains as well as the definition of users.
b) Universe domains are meta-models of related databases, comprising of the description of the data to be accessed.
c) Document domains, consists of the structures in order to store the shared documents and for executing the tasks as per to the time stamped definition.
