AppFabric component is used to produce access control and allocate messages across clouds and enterprises. This component has a service-oriented architecture, and can be regarded as the backbone of a Windows Azure platform. It offers connectivity and messaging between distributed applications. It can also be able to integrate the applications and business processes among cloud services and also between the cloud services and global applications.
AppFabric component provides the development environment which is integrated with Visual Studio 2010. Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services built in VS 2010 can be published on the cloud from Visual Studio design environment.
