The merits and demerits of acceptance rule are illustrated below:- Till the offer is admitted the offer can't be said as complete so it gives a security that brings the attention of the contract in existence at the moment of admittance. Advantage of it is that when the offer of admittance is being made and the receiving party sends the authentication to the party that sent the offer than the offer will be considered as compelling. The disadvantage of it is that the offer can be ended or discarded on the part of the person who is offering the offer. So it is entirely dependent on the offerer rather than the the person who is engaged in it. An additional disadvantage of this is that if the offeree discards the offer then offerer can't be admitted at prospect time.
