Scrum-ban is the software production model based on the Scrum and Kanban. Scrum-ban is in particular suited for the maintenance projects or (system) projects with common and unexpected user stories or programming errors. In such conditions the time-limited sprints of Scrum model are of no appreciable use; however Scrum’s daily meetings and other practices can be applied, based on the team and the condition at hand. Visualization of the work phases and limitations for concurrent unfinished user stories and defects are well-known from the Kanban model. By using such methods, the team’s workflow is directed in a manner which permits for minimum completion time for each user story or programming error and on other hand makes sure each team member is continually employed.
