Define Mobile IP

Mobile IP: Whenever a user leaves the network with which his device is related (that is, home network) and enters into domain of a foreign network, the foreign network employs the Mobile IP protocol to inform the home network of a care-of address to that all packets the user's device must be sent.

Mobile IP is most frequently found in wireless WAN environments where users require carrying their mobile devices across multiple LANs with various IP addresses.
