Reentrancy is a useful, memory-saving technique for multi programmed timesharing systems. A Reentrant Process is one wherein multiple users can share a single copy of a program throughout the same period. Reentrancy based on 2 key aspects: The program code cannot change itself, and secondly the local data for each user process have to be stored separately.
