Cetane No.- Cetane number is described as the percentage, by volume, of n-cetane within the mixture of n-cetane and alpha methyl naphthalene. It refers to the measure of rating of the CI engine.
Octane No. - Octane number is described as the percentage, by volume, of iso-octane within the mixture of iso-octane and h-heptane. It refers to the measure of rating of the SI engine.
