The self-concept comprises of three components which are as follows:

a) Self worth (or self-esteem): what we think regarding ourselves. Rogers supposed feelings of self-worth made in early childhood and were made from the interaction of child with their parents.
b) Self-image: How we observe ourselves, which is significant to good psychological health. Self-image

comprises persuade of our body image on inner personality.

c) Ideal self: This is the human being who we would like to be. It comprises of our goals and objectives in life, and is dynamic- that is, forever changing. The ideal self in early days is not the ideal self in our teens or late twenties and so on.
