advantages and disadvantages of routing tables
Explain the advantages and disadvantages of three types of the routing tables?
Expert
The three types of routing tables are
a) Fixed,
b) Dynamic, and
c) Fixed central.
Fixed table should be manually modified each time there occurs a change. A dynamic table alters its information on the basis of the network traffic, decreasing the quantity of manual maintenance. A fixed central table allows a manager to change only one table, which is then read by the other devices. Fixed central table decreases the requirement in order to update every machine's table, as it was with the fixed table. Generally a dynamic table results in the fewest problems for the network administrator, though the contents of table can be altered without the permission of the administrator.
