Find angle of incidence at red light internally reflected

Red light is incident on an equilateral prism (apex angleα = 60°) at an angle of incidence θ1. At this frequency, the index of refraction of the prism glass is n = 1.46.

(a) Calculate the net deviation δ (defined in the figure) for the case θ1 = 44°. Enter the angle as a number of degrees (with no degree symbol or units).

(b) Find the angle of incidence θR at which the red light is totally internally reflected from the second face of the prism.

(c) For violet light (other end if the visible spectrum) the prism glass has index of refraction n = 1.54. Calculate the net dispersion, γ = δviolet - δred, for a 44° angle of incidence.
