Secret key and public key
Explain how the secret key is different from the public key?
Expert
In secret key, same key is used by both the parties. The sender utilizes this key and an encryption algorithm for encryption of the data; the receiver uses the same key and the corresponding decryption algorithm in order to decrypt the data.
In public key, there exist two keys:
a) A private key and
b) A public key.
The private key is generally kept by the receiver whereas the public key is announced to the public.
