An exclusive primary index is exclusive and is employed to store and find a row. A non exclusive primary index is not exclusive and is employed to find and search a row but also where to store a row (or based on its exclusive primary index). An exclusive secondary index is exclusive for each and every row and employed to find and search table rows. A non exclusive secondary index is not exclusive and employed to find search table rows.
